I have decided to make today (for me and if you want to) homemaker day. You can tell about recipe's that you like to make and maybe things that you like to sew or even just a little nice word of wisdom. I want to share with a recipe. I love to bake and cook with my mom and I would like to be a better sewer. Do you have any tips on sewing? Well now I will share with you the best chocolate chip cookies ever. I have tried many chocolate chip cookie recipe and never have come out as good as this recipe.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2/3 cup of shorting
2/3 cup of butter
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 375
2.Cream together the shorting,butter,white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract. Combine the flour,baking soda and salt. Then just add the chocolate chips. And always have milk nearby. Tip: I use the whole bag of chocolate chips.

Sewing is not difficult, i just takes a lot of practice. Be sure to start with small, simple items that you won't mind messing up on. I would suggest a plain skirt or a bag. There are lots of patterns at fabric stores. If you are okay with enlarging a pattern from a drawing onto newspaper, you can use a lot of free online patterns. The whole bag of chocolate chips? That's what I'm talking about!!!! I never understand those recipes that only call for,like a cup of chips. PA-LEASE! Clearly a guy wrote that recipe, because everyone knows that women love chocolate!
My only tip for sewing is to just keep practicing. Trust me, it works. Start out with something easy, then once you are finished with that, move on to something just a little harder. And don't be afraid to ask for help. I speak from experience. The first thing I ever made was a pillow, and, believe it or not, that was hard for me! But look at me now! Just a few short years later, and I made my own costume for C.C(With a little help.)I also say experiment. stray off the beaten path of pattern directions every once in awhile. You'll learn a lot more when you try to figure stuff out for yourself then if you just let someone do it for you.
